MobileSphere's management team is made up of highly capable individuals committed to handling the company's aggressive growth in the mobile communications arena. From sales to software development to customer care, each member of the team is inspired to deliver a dramatically better way to support our customers and grow the business.
Our executive team, led by co-founders Toufic Mobarak and Gavin Macomber, is a group of seasoned telecom executives whose backgrounds include management roles at GTE, Genuity and ConeXus.
Toufic Mobarak – Co-Founder, President & Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Mobarak is responsible for strategic direction, technology development and deployment, and the day-to-day operations of the business. Toufic previously served as president of ConeXus, a telecommunications service provider he co-founded in 1995. At ConeXus, Mobarak oversaw the technology development and operations, growing revenue to $5 million in 2000. Prior to launching ConeXus, Mobarak held several international managerial positions at GTE in strategy and corporate planning. Toufic received his bachelor's and master's degrees in international economics from Sorbonne in Paris, France, and a master's degree in business administration from Thunderbird's American School of International Management.
Gavin Macomber – Co-Founder & EVP, Marketing & Business Development
Mr. Macomber is responsible for sales, marketing, and business development at MobileSphere. Gavin was previously head of marketing & business development at ConeXus. With over 15 years of business development and marketing experience, Macomber has held managerial positions with companies such as Genuity, AltiComm, GBM Communications, and IZZO Systems. Gavin received an MBA from Babson College's F.W. Olin School of Management and earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Bucknell University.
Vincent J. DiMento – Vice President & Treasurer
Vincent DiMento is a partner in the law firm of DiMento & Sullivan in Boston , Massachusetts concentrating in corporate, commercial and real estate law for over 20 years. DiMento also serves on the Board of Directors for MobileSphere. DiMento has been and is currently business counsel and in many instances, a partner, officer or director of several ongoing business establishments in the Metropolitan Boston area.
Ashou Han – Director of Software Engineering
Mr. Han is responsible for MobileSphere's software engineering, web development and programming needs. He was previously Director of Software Engineering at ConeXus and has nearly 10 years of software development and programming experience. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maine in computer science and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ocean University of China.
Paul Prew – General Counsel
Mr. Prew is an Associate in the law firm of DiMento & Sullivan of Boston, Massachusetts. With over 16 years of corporate law experience, Paul has served as general counsel for a number of technology, manufacturing, and services companies. Mr. Prew holds a law degree from the O. W. Coburn School of Law at Oral Roberts University.
Rima Patel – Marketing & Sales Manager
Ms. Patel is responsible for marketing & sales management at MobileSphere. Rima oversees MobileSphere's marketing, promotional and sales initiatives, with particular focus in University and Consumer markets. Rima has held marketing & sales positions at companies such as Omni Hotels, Circles and Student Advantage and brings a wealth of experience to MobileSphere in the areas of marketing, promotions, sales and account management. Rima received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Political Science from Indiana State University.
Karen Jordan - Client Relationship Manager
Ms. Jordan is responsible for overall client relations at MobileSphere. Karen oversees MobileSphere's relationships with institutional clients, partners and consumers. Karen's responsibilities also include customer service, billing and finance and vendor management. With over 10 years of experience, Karen has held similar positions at Focal Communications, Fidelity Investments and Airborne Express.
