MobileSphere Announces Two New University Relationships
University of Nebraska at Lincoln and Carnegie Mellon University Select MobileSphere to Provide Domestic and International Long Distance
Boston, MA – June 16, 2005 – MobileSphere, Ltd., a leading-edge provider of advanced telecommunications solutions, announced today that the company has recently been selected by two major universities, the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and Carnegie Mellon University to provide domestic and international long distance for the student communities beginning with the start of the 2005/2006 school year in August.
Utalk™, the company's next-generation virtual long distance solution, enables student's at both universities to place low-cost, prepaid domestic and international long distance calls from residences, cell, and any off-campus phone throughout the continental United States. MobileSphere will begin providing prepaid long distance service to a combined 32,000+ student population, including 3,899 international students, in August 2005.
