MobileSphere Selected by Purdue's University Residences to Provide Residential and Wireless Long Distance Services
Boston, MA – December 6, 2004 – MobileSphere, Ltd., a leading provider of advanced telecommunications solutions, announced that it has been selected by Purdue's University Residences as the long distance provider for students in on-campus residences on the West Lafayette campus.
Utalk™, the company's next-generation virtual long distance solution, enables students in University Residences, as well as faculty, and staff at Purdue University to place low-cost, prepaid domestic and international long-distance calls from residences, cell, and office phones, as well as from any off-campus phone throughout the continental United States. MobileSphere began providing prepaid long distance service to University Residences' 11,000+ student population, including 1,100 international students, in August 2004.
